  • Supervised the Pima Regional Hostage Negotations Team
  • Shift Supervisor of San Xavier, Rincon and Green Valley Patrol Districts
  • Supervised Animal Cruelty Task Force
  • Supervised San Xavier and Rincon Districts’ Directed Patrol Units
    I utilized the high impact offender program to significantly reduce serious crime in the San Xavier District
    Over a three-year period, we were able to get numerous indictments and subsequent prison sentences of subjects who oversaw and organized criminal activity in the area.
  • Supervised the School Resource Officer Unit
    I oversaw the creation and implementation of the Active Shooter Preparedness Program.  The program workshops trained school personnel in response to active shooter events and have been recognized at the national level.
    Agencies around the country have begun to utilize the Pima County Sheriff’s Department model of training school staff in active shooter preparedness.
